SAME Currently Provides:
- Over 2300 meals per month to Orphans and Vulnerable Children
- Monthly food parcels and home support to 49 OVC homes containing 110 children
- Home Based Care to 33 OVC homes containing 6 children
- Monthly fees and day care support to 10 toddlers
- Assistance to 3 day care centers serving up to 160 pre-school children
- Free weekly pediatric medical clinics to three schools/day cares with over 1000 patient files
- Daily school day vitamins to three schools of over 1000 children
- Every 6 month parasite treatment to over 1000 children
- Weekly TB/HIV treatment and support clinics to 24 paGents
- Community center with supplementary after school education, food, activities, and support of Orphans and Vulnerable Children
- Private high school education tuition, transportation and other expenses for 2 OVC students who have been supported and nurtured by SAME for over 6 years each.
- Daily food and clothing for over 80 OVC homes containing over 176 children
- Ongoing training for Health Care Workers and Home Based Caregivers
- HIV testing, HIV/Aids prevention, counseling, and treatment
- Free transportation to government run HIV clinics
- Transportation and hospital fees for desperately ill people
- Assistance to 3 day care centers serving up to 160 pre-school children
- Maintenance and restoration of homes where orphans live
- Clothing and blanket donations to OVC homes
- Gardens providing vegetables to OVC homes
- Periodic support from visiting USA volunteers to OVC homes and projects.
